Those schoolgirl days of telling tales and biting nails are gone
But in my mind I know they will still live on and on
But how do you thank someone who has taken you from crayons to perfume?
It isn't easy, but I'll try

If you wanted the sky I would write across the sky in letters
That would soar a thousand feet high 'To Sir, With Love'

The time has come for closing books and long last looks must end
And as I leave I know that I am leaving my best friend
A friend who taught me right from wrong and weak from strong
That's a lot to learn, but what can I give you in return?

If you wanted the moon I would try to make a start
But I would rather you let me give my heart 'To Sir, With Love'

< instrumental interlude to end>

CHURCH MAKES ORDER
When AC He became DC And Christianity spread, the priests saw with dismay that there were still some stubborn that worshiped or Samhain Pomona (or both two, as the deputy), and that was not correct (for Christians, of course). But if intransigent got lost customers, forgiveness ... devotees.
They had to find a clever way of giving pleasure to all, and that was how they happened to turn on the Christian holiday.
Already in itself brought a problemón with the timetable that they had been insufficient to give him a day to all the saints, then, what better than to spend a single day All Saints' minors (in category I suppose). Thus establishing the November 1 as All Saints Day, which in England (where there was a problem) was called (translated literally) as "All Hallow Day" and the night before was called "All Hallow Even" .
With contractions already known, so accustomed in English, it became "All Hallow E'en" and finally "Halloween".
